Raw Materials:  Waitaki Bisciences uses only Greenshell mussels harvested from one of the worlds cleanest marine envirnoments -  New Zealand.  Here, the New Zealand native Greenshell mussel ( Perna Canaliculus) is grown at licensed marine farms in sheltered coastal areas providing sea water that is rich in food and free of pollutants. 

Freedom from Contamination and Marine Biotoxins: Independent testing has verified the absence of organochloride and organophosphorous pesticides in Waitaki GSM.   New Zealand leads the world in monitoring the health of shellfish harvested for commercial use. Farmed Greenshell mussels are subject to the Marine Biotoxin Management Programme prior to harvesting.  This programme monitors New Zealand's marine farm growing waters for a variety of shellfish toxins, and ensures that no shellfish are harvested that  may be affected by unsafe levels of marine biotoxins

Manufacture: At Waitaki Biosciences we process only the highest quality aquaculture harvested and shelled Greenshell mussels, we dont offer extracts. Because of this you can be assured that your product is 100% as it is meant to be -  nothing  but pure GSM -  and our premium freeze drying technology maintains the integrity of all the active ingredients.  

Packaging:  Waitaki Biosciences Greenshell Mussel powder is packaged in heat sealed foil laminate bags inside a poyethylene line export grade cardboard carton.

The standard pack size is 25 kg (55.1 kg) net weight.

Export Certification: All export batches of Greenshell Mussel powder from Waitaki Biosciences are accompanied by a veterinarian signed New Zealand Food Safety Authority ( NZFSA) health certificate.  This certificate enables full traceability back to the date and marine farm of harvest.
