MCH-Cal™ - Quality
MCH-Cal™ from Waitaki Biosciences leads the market in quality and safety. To achieve this, every step of production is carefully controlled - from the raw material source through to delivery of the finished powder.
Raw Materials: Only bone from
100% New Zealand free range, pasture fed cattle is used in the manufacture of MCH-Cal. Carefully developed specifications for the age and type of bone collected ensure quality and consistency in the finished material.
Freedom from BSE: New Zealand is completely free of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) and all other TSE's, and unlike many countries has never had a single case of BSE. A comprehensive surveillance programme is in place to prevent the entry of TSE agents into New Zealand.
Freedom from Antibiotics and Growth Promotant Hormones: Antibiotics are not permitted to be used for growth promotion purposes in New Zealand livestock, and the use of hormonal growth promotants is extremely limited, and not permitted at all for product destined for the EU. Waitaki's MCH-Cal has been independently tested for residues of veterinarian administered antibiotics and growth promotant hormones - no residues of any of these substances has been detected in MCH-Cal.
Manufacture: MCH-Cal is manufactured in New Zealand at Waitaki Biosciences purpose built and fully export licensed processing facility. Specialised low temperature manufacturing processes ensure that the delicate bioactive components are preserved in the final product, maximising the effectiveness of MCH-Cal.
Packaging: MCH-Cal is packaged in heat sealed foil laminate bags inside a poyethelene lined export grade cardboard carton. As an additional assurance, an individually numbered,
tamper proof, official government seal is placed over the top and bottom carton joins.
The standard pack size is 25 kg (55.1 lb) net weight.
Export Certification: All exported MCH-Cal is accompanied by a veterinarian signed, New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) health certificate. This is an official, government issued, document and certifies that the goods are fit for human consumption and are export eligible. The health certificate also verifies the raw material source and enables traceability back to the date and area of slaughter.
