Shark Cartilage Quality
Raw Materials: Waitaki sources the highest quality raw materials, from New Zealand waters for the manufacture of Shark Cartilage powder. Shark caught in New Zealand waters are managed in a sustainable way, under the Quota Management System (QMS) which allocates a total allowable catch for sharks. Live finning and harvesting of sharks only for fins is prohibited by law in New Zealand.
Manufacturing: Shark Cartilage powder is manufactured at Waitaki Biosciences' own seafood processing facility. This facility is licensed with the New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) to manufacture edible products for human consumption.
Packaging:
To preserve product integrity and shelf life,
Shark Cartilage powder
is packed in heat sealed foil laminate bags, inside a polyethylene lined export grade cardboard carton.
The standard package size is 20kg (44.1lb).
Export Certification: Like all of our products, Shark Cartilage powder is exported accompanied by a veterinarian signed New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) health certificate. This is an official, government issued document and certifies that the goods are fit for human consumption, and are export eligible.
