Marine Collagen Quality

Waitaki Biosciences regards every step of the process, from harvesting raw material to delivery to customers, as integral parts of our quality management process.

Raw Materials:  Marine Collagen is manufactured from materials harvested from the pristine coastal waters of New Zealand caught as part of an allocated catch under New Zealand's world leading Quota Management System (QMS). Marine collagen is manufactured as a by product of marine products harvested for food.

Manufacturing: Marine Collagen is manufactured at Waitaki Biosciences' own seafood processing facility, licensed with the New Zealand Food Safely Authority (NZFSA) to manufacture edible products for human consumption. This includes regular independent audits and monitoring. All Marine Collagen powder is exported accompained by a veterinarian signed NZFSA health certificate. This is an official government issued document, certifying that  the goods are fit for human consumption, and are export eligible.

Packaging:  Marine Collagen is packaged in heat sealed foil laminate bags, inside a polyethylene lined export grade cardboard carton.
The standard pack size is 20kg (44.1lb) net weight.
