In a clinical trial, published in Food and Nutrition Sciences, 41 participants with mild gastrointestinal discomfort received either PhenActiv® or a placebo over a 6 week period.

At the conclusion of the study, participants who had been taking PhenActiv reported significant improvements in Irritable bowel syndrome and constipation symptoms.

This is great news for the 1 in 7 (15 %) of New Zealanders who are diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
